HEALING with HOPE (HwH)
[1]HEALING can be defined as curing or restoring to a sound state. HEALING is therefore a process than one has to encounter in order to be heal. As a result, HEALING does not occur instantly for the most part.
[2]HOPE gives a feeling of expectation. Even faith requires HOPE. As Hebrew 11:1; “now faith is the substance of things hoped for” (KJV).
No doubt about the power of God to heal anyone living with HIV/AIDS, the Doctors finding zero traces of the virus in the blood. Since God has not vested such power yet (many claim to be healed, but yet to be proven), the best way to help people living with HIV/AIDS and those significantly affected is through inspiration and educating. This can result in HEALING to the mind, heart, soul and spirit because of HOPE. Anyone who have this experience will take the necessary step to take care of themselves, start treatment if they have not done so yet, remain in care and embracing their new path. This can also be an overflow to those significantly affected.
This is the result of HEALING with HOPE (HwH).
Vision
Our vision is to be THE VOICE for People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHIV) among Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) and Communities (including Caribbean & Social Media), while stimulating HEALING to the mind, heart, soul, spirit & body and at the same time bringing HOPE to those who are living with and significantly affected by HIV/AIDS.
Mission
Our Mission is to be a pioneer in the Caribbean community, reaching out to those who are living with and significantly affected by HIV/AIDS and to reignite HOPE. “Breaking the Silence” in churches and among other FBOs to remove the ignorance surrounding HIV/AIDS and at the same time eliminating stigma & discrimination by educating Faith Based Organizations (FBOs) leaders and members on HIV/AIDS facts. HwH aim to encourage FBOs to become a place that delivers the highest possible level of love, respect, care and solidarity to those who are living with or significantly affected by HIV/AIDS as Jesus Christ demonstrated.
